John & Jill’s, Inc. is a California corporation established in 1994. John & Jill’s produces premium cheesecakes
made from the freshest ingredients available. John & Jill’s cheesecakes are made in several flavors (over 40)
and sizes (8). The management team at John & Jill’s consists of John Harris and Jill Nicol. The brother and
sister team manage the company with their 50 years of combined experience in the baking industry.

John and Jill first started baking cheesecakes at Sonoma Valley Cheesecake in Novato California. This was
Jill’s first job, at the age of 16. Jill started washing dishes and soon moved on to work in the production area
and then to head baker. While in college she studied international business and accounting. Soon after she graduated from college she was promoted to General Manager of Sonoma Valley Cheesecake.

John worked at Sonoma Valley Cheesecake while attending college. After working for a pharmaceutical
company for 3 years, he joined his sister to team up and run Sonoma Valley Cheesecake. John and Jill
eventually left Sonoma Valley Cheesecake to start their own company in 1994. Within 5 years they were able
to acquire Sonoma Valley Cheesecake and now manufacture under both brands.

The bakery is located at 4 Commercial Boulevard in Novato, California (20 miles north of San Francisco). This
facility produces approximately 4000 cakes a day. In keeping up with today’s current environment of quality
and safety, John and Jill’s follows GMP’s, routinely provides laboratory analysis of its products and passes all
cheesecakes through a metal detector. The majority of John & Jill’s current customer base is located in
Northern California and Japan. John & Jill’s also supply the U.S. Military.
